Our Approach to
Global Learning
We partner with colleges and universities in Utah to co-create meaningful study abroad programs that emphasize the power of diplomacy through service. By engaging directly with local leaders and grassroots organizations around the world, students gain hands-on experience that connects academic learning to real-world impact.
Our model is built on collaboration. We bring together universities, nonprofits, and communities to learn from one another, exchange knowledge, and work side by side. Through immersive experiences grounded in mutual respect, service, and cultural humility, students are invited to apply what they’re learning in the classroom to real-life global challenges, ensuring that all voices are heard and valued.
We collaborate with community-based organizations and local leaders in regions across the globe; including the Balkans, Cuba, Peru, Fiji, Nepal, India, Cambodia, Kenya, Rwanda, and Ecuador. Each partnership is rooted in respect, reciprocity, and a shared commitment to sustainable, people-centered development
Since joining Youthlinc in 2017, our programs have created pathways for students to turn global learning into real-world action. We've facilitated dozens of study abroad experiences in partnership with various Universities and have collaborated with departments ranging from Political Science, Public Health, Music and Outdoor Programs. Our students don’t just travel. They engage deeply, complete research projects, present at national conferences, and co-design service projects with local communities.

We Build Global Citizens Through Service
RootEd Global goes beyond the classroom, empowering students to take action through community-based learning and global engagement.
We Have Stories that Inspire
At RootEd Global, every journey sparks more than just adventure. It sparks transformation. Our students return with stories of connection, growth, and global understanding. Read exciting stories in the Youthlincer, where we spotlight how experiences abroad light the path for students.

From Anthropology to Immigration Law:
